What should I do while I wait for you?
Put a bucket under the drip, move furniture and electrics away from it, and if a ceiling is bulging, pierce it with a screwdriver over a bucket to let the water out safely. Do not go on a ladder in wind or rain.
Do you charge extra for emergency call-outs?
You are told the price before we start. The make-safe and the permanent repair are priced separately so you can see exactly what each costs.
Will my insurance cover storm damage?
Most buildings insurance policies cover storm damage to roofs. We photograph the damage before and after and describe the repair so you have what the insurer needs for a claim.
Can you repair a roof in the rain?
Some repairs, like refixing tiles, can be done in light rain. Lead and flat roof work needs dry conditions, so we make the roof weathertight with temporary cover and return to finish it.
Do you handle emergencies for landlords?
Yes. We deal with landlords and letting agents regularly, can arrange access with tenants and send photos and invoices straight to you.
