Best Top Roofing Ltd ("we", "us") is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. This policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, your rights, and the cookies the site uses.
What we collect
- Details you give us through the enquiry form, by phone or by email: name, phone number, email address, postcode and address, and a description of the work.
- Photographs you send us of your roof.
- Technical data from analytics and, where you consent, advertising cookies: pages visited, device type, referring site and campaign identifiers.
Why we use it
- To answer your enquiry, survey, quote and carry out the work (contract).
- To keep records of quotes, guarantees and invoices as the law requires (legal obligation).
- To measure and improve our website and advertising, where you have consented (consent).
- To contact you about work we have carried out for you (legitimate interests).
Who we share it with
Our website host and form provider (Netlify), our customer records system, our email provider, Google and Meta for analytics and, where you consent, advertising measurement, and manufacturers where a product guarantee needs registering. We never sell personal data.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become jobs are deleted after 12 months. Job records, guarantees and invoices are kept for at least six years, and guarantee records for as long as the guarantee runs.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time. Email info@besttoproofingltd.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
